Liana Tronci
Master degree in Classics (University of Pisa, 1999); PhD in Linguistics and Didactics (University for Foreigners of Siena, 2003); Post-Doc research grant (University for Foreigners of Siena, 2004-2007). She worked at the University of Zurich as an assistant in Italian Linguistics (2007-2008), then at the University for Foreigners of Siena as a researcher in Linguistics (2008-2015), associate professor (2015-2024), and full professor (2024-). Her research focuses on the morphosyntax of ancient and modern Indo-European languages (Ancient Greek, Latin, and Italian). She is a member of the Società Italiana di Glottologia, the Sodalizio Glottologico Milanese, the Philological Society, the Societas Linguistica Europaea, and the Société de Linguistique de Paris.
